There is a Travel Channel series that is pretty popular on the internet, this “Girl Meets Hawaii” video tour that covers various attractions in Hawaii. It’s very interesting and worth your time watching a couple of all of them if your intention is on visiting the islands anytime soon. Samantha Brown is fun and engaging.

– O’ahu’s North Shore. The North Shore has one of the most beautiful waves on the planet, the Pipeline. The swells during winter are larger than summer. During summer it is usually completely flat and anyone can swim there.
– Surf-N-Sea in Haleiwa on the the north shore of Oahu Island.
– Samantha takes a bike ride to Waimea Falls Park, home of the massive 30 feet waves during winters.
