I found this treat for you and it’s available for a limited time only. From the PBS website:
Waterman Duke: Ambassador of Aloha, narrated by Jason Momoa, shares the inspiring story and considerable impact of five-time Olympic medalist Duke Kahanamoku. He shattered swimming records and globalized surfing while overcoming racism in a lifetime of personal challenges.

Watch this right now:
Mahalo Peter, watched “The Waterman” today. What an amazing life of Aloha showing all of us how to live it out in our own lives. The quote of having the “Land and the Culture” taken away made me think of Iz’s “Hawaii 78”.
Definitely a model for all of us to follow
Watching it now. Moving back to Hawaii in late August. Lived on Oahu for 7 years in the 80s. Hope I’m not too old!
Excellent film !
Mahalo for sharing.
It’s an amazing movie. Not sure if it paints the entire picture of his life but is a beautiful tribute to a man who made significant contributions and demonstrates the Aloha of the land. Highly recommend it.
Thank you for sharing!
Watching it now Peter.
awesome! LMK what you think of it!
